It has been an entire year since the last post. A long year of hardship and confusion. A short year of understanding and development.
All is not lost. The work is not finished. Begun, but not completed.
As the sun’s radiance dies and the black night envelopes the earth, watch with keen eyes for the form. The visage so darkened that it stands out in the moonless skies, the effigy so obscure that the sharpest comprehension cannot begin to understand.
No release from the grasp. No relief from the gaze. No refuge from the pursuit.
Climb on, climb on.
Earth Day… Woohoo. April 21, 2008

Well what do you know? It’s Earth Day. The joy in my environmentalist heart knows no bounds.
How about today, just today, we right minded folks (who actually use our brains) go out of our way to enslave our bodies and souls to the teachings of the prophet Al Gore. Let’s face it: the world is going to end in 30 years because of global warming. Pollution from cars and factories is destroying our atmosphere; THE FRIGGIN’ POLAR ICE CAP IS MELTING!
Let’s all take a moment and hug a tree.
Think I was being serious about all that? If you did, start boiling the pot of water you’ll be sticking your head into in a few minutes.
I’d like to take this day, Earth Day (haha), and reflect on some fairly recent history. I was not around during the time Earth Day came about, but I did my homework.
Earth Day was started in 1970, about the same time the scientists said the Ice Age was supposed to strike the earth, freezing people and animals in their tracks; there was little or no hope for humanity’s survival. A large group of scientists (much like today’s global warming fanatics) even thought the world was going to end in 15-30 years after about 1970. Temperatures were getting too cold, they said.
Sound familiar? Yup. Except it’s just a little bit different now. Actually it’s pretty much the opposite thing: not the Ice Age, but global warming. Now I’m honestly not one to rant and rave either way on political and scientific controversies, but this just struck me as amusing.
Did everyone see that the “Ice Age” claims were bogus? Yes indeed. Would they ever again trust those “scientists” who made these proclamations? Surely not. But wait! The unthinking masses are flocking to the new extremity: global warming! This concept is being brought to them by the same type of people, the braindead scientist wannabes.
Anyway, before this blog post turns into a novelette I’ll just say that people are obviously pretty gullible. Call yourself a scientist, say “global warming” in the same sentence with anything positive and BAM! The unthinking masses are at your doorstep worshiping you like a god.

Have problems with the world, ideas, and the unthinking masses? Everyone does. But not as much as I do.
I see things in a seemingly strange light. This hypothetical light is “sardanicism.” No, you won’t find the word in a dictionary, but it has meaning nonetheless.
